Michael Grais is the original writer of Poltergeist (1982) and Poltergeist II (1986). He is writing the fourth film Poltergeist: In The Shadows.
It may be about “Carol Anne” more grown up. Would you like to see a continuation or a remake. Should the new “Carol Anne” be a young child, a teenager, or an adult now. Would you like to see JoBeth Williams and Craig T. Nelson make an appearance in the film?

i loved the original and jobeth and craig could probably use the job but i fear they will use special effects and cut back on plots with speaking parts..its not their fault but special effects make actors appear lazy or apathetic ..we’ll see..i just think there are more movie stars than actors these days…that’s just me..

I have seen several of these movies but, not in there entireities, I don’t really care for them, not to crank about them like this for that matter or even discuss them.
I guess children would like them. I would think senior with more adult minds that are mature would think of something more mature.

Sorry, but I’m really not into that type of movie. Now, if it was the remake of an old western, I’d be all for it. Happy trails to you.

As scary movies go, Poltergeist was lukewarm, they shouldnt make another one.

What, is the ‘blind pool of venture capital’ getting so thick with money that they feel compelled to waste some ! As Al Bundy ( Maried With Children) would say…”please, somebody just shoot me !”

Yawwwn. Buncha no load hacks in Hollywood anymore. They can’t think up new ideas so they just add on to the old ones. BORRRRING!

I honestly could not care less about Poltergeist. You might get more responses in the movie category.

Instead of a re-make or a continuation I would love to see it be a vague memory. Can you say, “Flogging a dead horse”?
