All you fans out there of the Darren Shan series, like myself, what do you think of the casting for this film!? Horrible! Yes!? I read those series devoutly! They were brilliant! And the thought of a film, at first, i thought was awesome. But then looking at the casts… Mr. Tall — Ken Watanabe!? WHAT THE HELL. I didnt know Mr. Tall was asian!? Sure, Ken is a good actor, but get out of town! And John C. Riley as Mr. Crepsley!!! Oh get out!! Now!! Worst casting decision ever!! I always envisaged Crepsley as this really genuine, decent, trustworthy, kind person/vampire that comes out as being a bit abrasive at the start. I had a completely differenent face for that character. And they’ve associated him with John C. Riley!?? Bugger off!! He doesnt even suit the role at all!!! I just hope this film doesnt tarnish the books. I will definitely see it. I hope my current opinions are changed though after I see the film. I hope I’m wrong…
Anyways, what are your thoughts on this? Please, feel free to talk about any aspect of this upcoming film. Not just what I’ve said.

ken doesnt fit the part but i think john might pull it off. the budget for the film is 80,000,000 dollars which is pretty low but steve’s gonna be played by the guy in zathura uhh josh hutcherson. yeahh mr. tall shouldnt be asian
