I’ve always been a big fan of Horror movies but one thing I’ve noticed is that most of them have adolescent and young adult females running around screaming half naked.
Part of me thinks that Horror films allow perverted guys to make their sick fantasies almost real.

It’s because usually the producers or script writers are either trying to shock people or they have some symbolism they want the audience the get. I think saying people who make horror movies are sick is kind of a cop out. Their art is just different than other forms of art, and they are trying to show the dark side of life. Like alot of slasher movies are trying to say there isn’t much that separates you the viewer from becoming like the killer.

    that would be about right
There’s a Japanese movie called “Grotesque” that has actually been banned in the UK.. not sure about the US because the rating certificate company deemed it as “torture porn”
This a very true for a lot of really low budget movies. A lot of them have some kind of fetish (or could be interpreted as fetish) A lot of writter/directors add in their own fetishes to their movies which I don’t think is the best way to go about movies. Seems kind of self centered making a movie for themselves rather than the audience.
An example would be Tarantino has a lot of feet and foot fetish related things in his films.
The director of the Men in Black movies Barry Sonnenfeld has vore fetish in both the MIB movies. Barry Sonnenfeld did work in porn though so that might be why he thinks it’s ok.
There are definitely other directors that try to satisfy their fantasies via movies too.
Alfred Hitchcock, probably one of the best examples.. he was known for being pretty perverted

I’ve noticed that, too… maybe it’s kind of like a damsel in distress thing. You never see a guy screaming and freaking out in the media… And maybe it’s just become a cliche thing. I’m not too big of horror flicks, though. They’re all the same and are so predictible now it seems.
