I went to see Dark Knight today (6pm showing and its brilliant) and while there was a large family with a child aged about 3. The child of course got really bored half way through (its a long film and children get restless) and chatted non stop got in and out its seat while the parents didnt do a lot about this. I dont blame the child its not their fault they were bored, just what sort of grown adult thinks this is a good idea? [+]

for hollywood to depict asians in a disgusting stereotypical light especially in most recent films like "I now pronounce you Chuck & Larry" and to some extent the new "Rush Hour 3" movie? Like in the gay movie, Rob Schneider plays the yellow face Japanese minister with the buck tooth, slanty eyed, r/l bad accent and the 5 hooter girls ( all asian) and RH3, Tucker calling a guy speaking French an embarassment to his race, and on and on... I'm not asian but have friends who are and it even makes ME uncomfortable. If there was any perceived slight towards blacks, then you know there would be a loud public outcry. I can only assume that Asian Americans are not as vocal and don't b*tch loudly enough because obviously the Jewish executives have something against them. Staying quiet and [+]

I see it more and more (usually on TELEVISION not MOVIES) that Asians are getting roles that aren't really stereotyped. It makes me happy... Also does it seem like if you're mixed Asian (white or black) you have a better chance breaking into the music/movie industry? Most of the "Asians" that are famous are mixed: Kristen Kreuk, Nicole Scherzinger (pussycat doll leader), Sharon Leal (Dream Girls), Amerie, Kimora Lee, Vanessa Hudgens, Vanessa Manillo, etc. [+]
