What is the name of the Asian movie that was inspired by John Travolta's saturday night fever? I have been searching at odds and ends for it , for a while and just can't seem to find it. From what I remember from seeing it in my childhood. The movie was about the young man who was booth inspired by John Travolta and Bruce Li or was it Bruce Lee. Anyway, he was influenced to dance by John travolta. From there it followed the same sequence of him going to a dance competition. The only difference is that he ended up witht he girl, that was similar to the girl that had like John Travolta in his movie. If you know the name of the movie, or atleast an actor, can you tell me. I would like to get it for Christmas; since [+]

It's hard for me to put it in words that doesn't sound like I'm describing a 100% corpse. But I guess we can say Tim Burton's films like Corpse bride, take example the main character the man that's suppose to get married and his Living fiancee. Even though it's a sickly type of dead beauty, I find it attractive. Is this wrong? Another example is those typical asian horror films with a girl with very long ebony hair and a very pale complexion. [+]

I see it more and more (usually on TELEVISION not MOVIES) that Asians are getting roles that aren't really stereotyped. It makes me happy... Also does it seem like if you're mixed Asian (white or black) you have a better chance breaking into the music/movie industry? Most of the "Asians" that are famous are mixed: Kristen Kreuk, Nicole Scherzinger (pussycat doll leader), Sharon Leal (Dream Girls), Amerie, Kimora Lee, Vanessa Hudgens, Vanessa Manillo, etc. [+]

I saw this film when I was small but remember very little and want to try and trace it...it's about an asian boy and a camel. I saw it in the 80's. The boy met the camel when it was young and fed it via a bottle with the fingertip of a rubber glove as the teat. I think this was on a ship and the glove was from the galley where there was a big angry chef. Somehow they were separated and the boy sees the camel again a long time later when it's part of a herd in a pen waiting to be taken somewhere. He rescues it and that's all I remember. Not much to go on I'm afraid... [+]
