This question has been bugging me for sometime now. I look at the film industry its a interesting question that I think about alot. So please tell me what you think, I mean you look at the success of that African Americans have had in the acting feild, for example Denzel Washington, Will Smith, Halle Berry, etc. Why are their no big black directors that have spread their influence into mainstream America in the form of successful films. Yes, I do know their are black filmmakers out there, but my focus is of the level of Steven Spielberg and the like.
