Just a heads up, I'm not expecting to actually become scared. I haven't been scared by a movie since before I knew about special effects. I've seen a LOT of scary movies. From The Blair Witch Project to The Strangers, Begotten (More uncomfortable and depressing than scary) to Antichrist (Artistically horrifying to say the least), and Candyman to nearly all of Alfred Hitchcock's movies. I've seen a variety of Asian horror films as well as old horror movies from as early as the 30s. I crave something that I will at least be elated by. I'm into movies with no soundtrack, but still has dialogue (The music makes it less scary, more Hollywood). I also like movies with realistic gore like the Hostel and Saw (Though Saw is corny) series. Any hope? [+]

hey guys im bored of watching all this mainstream krap that's out today i mean i still watch all the great classics from 80s below but i want a movie that will scare the krap out of of me ive never seen a movie that really scared me im wanting to watch some Asian horror films but i don't know any to watch so if you guys know of any asian films thats scary or any other please let me know thanks [+]

i want to go out and get some good scary asian films or action films, any ideas. here are some of the ones i've got already : kung fu hustle, audition, host, warrior king and obviously i know of the 'americanised' films such as ring, dark water, etc [+]

Ok, I have watched and enjoyed the movies The Ring, Disturbia, The Uninvited, The Shining, WHen A Stranger Calls, The Eye and some others that i cant think of now some of the movies are either remakes of asian horror films (like the ring, the uninvited, the eye) and when a stranger calls is a remake of an old american film i want some scary movies to watch that are more recent, and i also want classic, old horror films 2. which do you guys suggest? I've seen horror films before. Rec, Shutter, The Ring, The Grudge, Pulse, (both versions of all 3 films Asian and American), The Exorcist, Evil Dead 1-3, Night, Dawn, Day, Land, and Diary of the Dead, Frontieres, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 1-3, remake, and beginnings, 28 Days and Weeks Later, Maniac Cop, House of 1000 corpses, Devils Rejects, etc.... and tons more. Is there anything out there that can really scare me? Some of these did but I'm, like, immune now. [+]
