I've been searching for an anime film I saw around 2003-2004 on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. I don't remember much about it other than that it had very high quality animation (realistic and similar to that of "Ghost in the Shell") and that it featured a giant stone hand towering over a city. I also remember there being a paranormal plot with ghosts in abandoned areas. I believe one of the protagonists may have been a younger teen or kid. It seemed like it was a continuation of a previous series or film but again, I'm not sure. Any assistance in identifying this film would be greatly appreciated.
